Fall is our favorite time of the year. The temperatures cool and the daylight softens while gardens evolve with stunning color. The beach is at its most beautiful in the early fall. On those rare fall days that bring an unusual blend of dark skies and bright sunlight, Lake Michigan takes on a turquoise hue that seems almost unnatural.
Fall is a time of renewal as well. For mothers of school-age children like me, back-to-school time is our New Year’s Day. It’s time to leave the lazy days of summer behind and resolve to be more organized and productive, tackle those long-delayed projects and commit to healthier habits. Hyde Park
The Hyde Park neighborhood gained word-wide notoriety as the location of the World’s Columbian Exposition in 1893 and The University of Chicago, founded here in 1890, established Hyde Park as a bastion of culture and intellect.
